 It
was the vision, passion, talent, and heart of Patricia Dickinson
that brought Cloud Nine to life. Having a passion for both
children and horses, Pat honed her skills and her farm to
offer a launching pad for Cloud Nine with the mission of providing
horseback riding lessons to any child that wanted to ride
a horse.
With 30 years of horse training experience and teaching children
about equine, as well as a career at the Vestal Central
Schools since 2001 working in the special education department, Patricia
Dickinson specializes in fun, safe rides that are beneficial
to both horse and rider.
 Her
vision was only heightened after a visit to Winslow Therapeutic
Riding Center in Warwick, New York whose indoor riding facility
and barn was inspirational. This inspiration led her to train
and test for her NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped
Association) certification. This training program developed
the art of teaching therapeutic horseback riding lessons to
children with disabilities and leaves Patricia Dickinson the
only horseback riding instructor in Broome or Susquehanna
County with such certification.
